Kithul (Caryota urens) mostly grows in Sri Lanka’s rain forest expanse. treacle is made from sap extracted from the inflorescence of the kithul palm and boiled down to a sweet, dark brown syrup, thick and sweet in flavor. The Kithul treacle was used regularly to make various traditional sweets, drinks such as herbal infusions. This is a kithul treacle mix with ginger juice. This traditional combination is medically and nutritionally rich and can be use on daily base.
